Um, first of all, it’s been about a year and a half since I got forehead filler.. I didn’t want to go under the knife, but I wanted to look prettier, so the procedure I looked into was forehead filler. My forehead was quite sunken, and since I don’t have bangs, it was something I worried about often in everyday life. So that day, I found a low price on a cosmetic social commerce site, booked for the following Sunday, and went. (It was so impulsive that I don’t really remember the clinic information ㅜㅜ) I waited about 30 minutes there and went in to consult with the consultant. I had only bought 30cc through the social commerce deal, but she said that if I was putting in filler to fill a sunken forehead, I would need enough volume for the depressed area, and if only that area was filled, it would become bumpy, so it would be better to lay filler over the whole forehead again overall. She said she had done it that way too and told me to put in 60cc. So I said 60cc felt like too much and that I would only do 50cc, then after applying numbing cream, I went into the procedure room 20 minutes later. I lay down on something like a dental chair, they wiped off the numbing cream, and I got anesthetic injections. Because of the numbing cream, it didn’t hurt; it just felt unpleasant, like something was entering my forehead, and gave me slight chills. But the problem was... after that, they said they were making space for the forehead filler, and with a thick syringe about the size used for blood donation, they dug around all over my forehead. They really dig around like crazy ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ But what it really feels like is, my head ached so much that I thought, if someone hit the back of my head hard with a baseball bat, it would probably feel this dazed~. From my forehead, I kept hearing the sound of tissue tearing inside, crunching and cracking, and that was also really terrifying. Just when I thought it must be about over, they put the syringe in the other side and dug around again, and again. After about 30 minutes of that, tears came out not because it hurt, but just automatically .. My head hurt so much, and I kept waiting, please let it end, let it end. Then they finally put in the filler. Putting in the filler didn’t hurt much, but I could hear the filler hardening. It sounded exactly like the old heat packs sold at stationery stores when they harden, except the sound was coming from my forehead. The doctor kept pressing firmly on my forehead to position it, and it felt like my forehead was going to cave in ㅋㅋ Anyway, after finishing the forehead filler and coming out, they took photos and only then told me the precautions and that, as side effects, my head could feel heavy and hurt ㅠ I got prescriptions for things like antibiotics and painkillers and went home, and my whole family burst out laughing ㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜ They said things like it looked like actress Hwang Woo Seul Hye’s old forehead, and that if Sim Cheong were reincarnated, she’d have a forehead like mine, and that all they could see was my forehead. And it really was like that. I don’t know if my forehead was just too swollen or what, but it didn’t look natural. So originally they said not to go to a jjimjilbang for about 3 months, but even after a week my forehead still looked the same, so I intentionally stayed in a jjimjilbang for about 20 minutes, and only then did it at least look like a human forehead. I wonder what would have happened if I had put in 60cc,, everyone, don’t get too greedy either, and make sure you only do the amount you decided on. Also, the heaviness in my forehead, and I had originally never had headaches except when I had indigestion, not even once, but after getting forehead filler, I started getting headaches really often. That’s one of the biggest reasons I regret it. And the upper eyebrow area that I use a lot has all sunken in, so now even when I’m not frowning, only that area is hollowed out like I’m making a frowning expression. Even if I get Botox, only the areas that sink keep sinking. In the end, it becomes an endless cycle of getting filler again, it sinking, getting it again, it sinking ㅜㅜㅜㅠㅜ In conclusion, unless you can endure headaches and the ongoing maintenance costs, please avoid getting filler in your forehead if possible!!
