It has been a little over a year since I had facial contouring surgery. I’m living my daily life normally without side effects, more so than I had initially worried. My sensation hasn’t completely returned 100%, but it feels like only about 2% is missing? It’s because of the sensation in my lips, but now I’ve accepted it and gotten used to itㅠㅠ I worried a lot about side effects from facial contouring too, but it’s not like the bones have separated or that I’m dissatisfied with the results, so I’m living thinking that this much is... okay ㅋㅋ
The thing I worry about most these days is fat.. It’s not cheek sagging… it’s really fat.. fat…. I gained so much weightㅠㅠㅠ After surgery, I relaxed and ate, and I put on a lot of weight.. You have to be careful.ㅠㅠㅠ There were so many things I worried about before surgery.. from what if I don’t make it out of the operating room, to dissatisfaction with the results, cheek sagging, bone separation, sensory abnormalities, and so on. Since I had the surgery while worrying about so many things, I’m so, so grateful that this past year has gone by without problems. Facial contouring is absolutely not an easy surgery, and it’s not a surgery with no discomfort at all, so unless you desperately want it, I hope you don’t do it. For the first month after surgery, it’s truly painfulㅠ I think that was when I regretted it the most… haha I also had forehead fat grafting and my nose done at the same time as the facial contouring, so maybe that made it even harder. After having the surgery, I understood why people say not to do facial contouring and rhinoplasty togetherㅠㅠ You can’t breatheㅠㅠ Fortunately, everyone who sees my nose says it’s pretty, and there are still many people who don’t know I had surgery, so now I don’t regret doing it haha. It’s not soft, and the tip of the nose being hard can’t be helpedㅠ
Now I’m just going to manage myself so I don’t gain more weight! Ah, I really have too much fat on my faceㅠㅠ I should have managed myself more strictlyㅠ This time when I went to Seoul for a follow-up, even the director told me to lose some weightㅠㅠ So I’m uploading before-and-after CT photos haha. In the photos, I almost look like someone who didn’t get facial contouring because I gained weightㅠㅠ ㅋㅋㅋ It’s nothing special, but I hope my review helps those preparing for facial contouring surgery.
