Incision vs. non-incision could be chosen -> non-incision ptosis correction, double eyelid, epicanthoplasty (to release the Mongolian fold) / secondary canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty not recommended At consultations at other clinics, it was split 50-50 between saying incision was necessary and saying non-incision was possible. Director Kim Hyun-soo recommended the non-incision method, and when I asked why, he said incision is always the right answer, but for my eyes, non-incision could be a 90-point result while incision might be 95 points, so considering cost-effectiveness and everything else, non-incision would be better. I told him I was worried about my eyes' corners being raised and that I was afraid I'd end up with the white showing under the iris, and he said secondary and lower canthoplasty would make the clinic more money if I chose them, so they would be okay with it, but he thought not doing them would be better. Instead, as part of his own surgical style, he explained that epicanthoplasty, which releases the Mongolian fold, could make the front part of the eyes lift a bit and reduce the raised-corner look.
