Eye Surgery Reviews

Gerida Review

Phone: Reservation was easy, doctor selection was possible, and they briefly asked basic things like whether it was a first surgery or revision, and the expected timing of the operation.

Check-in & wait (20-30 min): Very kind. They had me fill out on a tablet where I saw them from, the purpose of the surgery, etc. The clinic was very clean, there weren’t many people, and as I’d heard in the reviews, there were some Chinese people there. (Didn’t really matter though.. x)

Manager consultation (about 5-7 min): Short and simple. They briefly set the line and asked basic information such as whether I used eyelid tape or glue. Firm but kind.

Wait: 15-20 min (I waited while reading a plastic surgery review book)

Doctor consultation: 10-15 min: Explained things kindly and well. However, it didn’t feel super relaxed or leisurely. He set the line several times, and only the last one he marked finally suited me. He analyzed my eyes well (fat on the left eye, uneven eyes, the small distance between my eyes and eyebrows, the possibility of looking sausage-like). He gave me time to ask questions, but once it was time to wrap up, he got up quickly.

Manager consultation again: about 5 min? They explained aftercare. I asked about the cost. They didn’t lower the price.

Total time: 1 hour 30 minutes

Overall impression after visiting several places: since it was the first place I went, I thought, okay, not bad~ but there were also many other kind places They didn’t force procedures, but compared to other places, they tended to recommend a lot of different things. (Forehead lift was the only recommendation that was unique.) There were some differences in the diagnostic conclusions compared to the other two places I visited later (this doctor recommended incision + forehead lift and eye correction. He said I had a lot of eyelid fat, while the other two said it wasn’t fat but just protruding eyes.)
