From the director’s point of view, they said non-incisional inner double eyelids + epicanthoplasty alone would be enough. (They said I have pseudo-ptosis = no need for eye shape correction.) They said eye shape correction is needed for people with weak eye-opening strength, but that my eye-opening strength is on the strong side. When I checked again later, my left eye was slightly weak, but they said that absolutely was not enough reason to change from a non-incisional method.
I asked whether my eyes were good for surgery, and they said I was a very good case for surgery. (Good = easy to operate on.) They said it would have been very comfortable if everyone were like me.. They also said my facial contour is on the pretty side, so I should thank my parents
I also asked about removing eye fat, and they said my eyes did not really need it. They said what they personally found lacking was my nose rather than my eyes. I didn’t even know this myself, but they said my nose has a hump + bulbous nose. (Do I need to look into nose surgery again..) When I said I only wanted something like nose filler, they said I could try filler first and decide later.
They showed me a line, and I asked whether, if I got double eyelid surgery, the distance between my eyes and eyebrows might become too close. They said it was not something I needed to worry about. (They said it would get about 1 mm closer.)
I also asked about side effects, and they said eye surgery is the first thing plastic surgeons learn and that it is the simplest, so there was no need to worry. Other clinics actually recommended additional procedures, but this director instead said I did not need the eye shape correction that every other place had recommended, so my trust went up. (They said if I did it, it would actually become overcorrected.)
After that, the consultant came in and we talked. This consultant said she had worked at ㄷㅇㅇ (a large hospital) and at other hospitals too, and that if I did it here, I would not regret it. She said she was confident that 80-90% of people would choose to have it done here. (There are some omitted parts, but overall it was a satisfying consultation.)
