I had the silicone removed by incision, and I still haven't found any contracture or anything strange with my nose. There is a bit of scar tissue, but compared with other side effects, that's still better. The swelling went down a lot around a month later, and by 2 to 3 months almost all of it was gone. Of course, the nose is lower than before.
