Since I was young, I was stressed because I had clear marks that looked like sagging under-eye fat, and as I got older and lost facial fat, it got worse, so I decided on surgery and went to consultations at two places. One was a private clinic, and one was a large hospital. I went to the private clinic first, and they said this hospital only does fat restoration surgery, not fat repositioning. They said fat repositioning is a method of spreading the fat broadly, but it isn’t suitable for East Asians (I don’t remember why...) and recurs easily. They said the man waiting in the waiting room had had that procedure and came for revision surgery. They said fat restoration surgery is a method of putting fat under the eyes and fixing it in place. It was a method I hadn’t seen when searching online, so I was a bit unsure, but they explained it logically, so I was drawn to it. Second, I went to a large hospital, and the young doctor was very kind and explained things in detail. When I said another hospital had recommended fat restoration surgery, he said each doctor has a different opinion, so there wasn’t really anything specific he could say. My mind was already leaning toward the first clinic (I personally just prefer stubborn and sharp-tempered doctors), so after the consultation I came out and decided on the first clinic. I’m very satisfied with the surgery. Since the bulging area became flat, I guess a little loose skin can’t be helped.
