First, I want to say that all the photos I uploaded are “after plastic surgery.” I had surgery at a certain hospital in Gangnam with a doctor who appeared on Let Me In haha To be exact, I had cheekbone surgery in 2010, so a few years after getting the surgery, I saw the doctor appear on Let Me In. Anyway,
The photo with three pictures together is from roughly 2 to 3 years after surgery, and I liked it so much then. My face also had a V-line, and I was very satisfied.
From the 4th or 5th year, my face shape was kind of, how should I put it, hmm, it felt a little different from the beginning.. I had cheekbone surgery, but something felt lacking.. Still, it was not a perfect oval face, but at a glance it looked oval. If I wore my side hair down, it looked pretty enough. I thought maybe it was because I had gained some weight, or because I was getting older and the skin was sagging. The cheek sagging from cheekbone surgery was not severe.
But starting in 2016, the complex I used to have because of my cheekbones gradually came back, and I could not wear my hair all pushed back. The skin also sagged little by little. It is hard to say this is definitely because of the surgery, and it is probably sagging due to several combined reasons.. Still, it was not to the point where I thought I need lifting right away. Maybe I was a bit insensitive, but when I looked in the mirror it was just, I got a bit uglier, that level..
And the last single photo It is a photo I took this afternoon~~ Cheekbones~~~ nice to see you? Did the bone grow back? Today, I had a CT scan at another plastic surgery clinic, and I found out that from the beginning, they had not cut and moved the cheekbones inward as much as they should have. The doctor consulting me also wondered why they left this behind.. (not a clinic that cuts excessively) For a few years after surgery, of course the cheekbones were more inward than before surgery, there was probably some swelling, I was young, and my skin was firmer than now, so the line looked pretty. I lived thinking I had been freed from cheekbones forever.
I never dreamed that after going through that hardship (postoperative recovery processㅋ), 9 years later I would be thinking about revision surgery again~.~ I have aged too (9 more years), and as my skin has become thinner and sagged, the bone has clearly revealed its original shape. It will probably be worse as I get older, right? I am looking into revision surgery now~ But I am worriedㅠ that the skin might sag more, or that the first surgery luckily had no side effects (though they said the surgery itself had been done meticulously, and it looked that way on the CT too), but if I have revision surgery, could side effects happen.. I have also seen many people who ended up needing reconstruction because of overcorrection, so I worry about those things...
Sigh.. Looking into clinics again after 9 years is really hecticㅎㅎ Please recommend lots of revision surgery clinics~~
For now, I am going to consultations one by one at several clinics~~
