Nasal bridge silicone 3.5 mm, donor costal cartilage used for the nasal tip. I don’t know how many millimeters, I didn’t ask... As for foreign-body sensation, it varies by person, but I have none from either. It’s been a month and a half. I can gently squeeze out nose sebum well with an extractor. The alar reduction incision line has improved a lot. Recently I drank a ton once, and the incision line temporarily got red. But this also used to happen before revision surgery back when I drank. I still can’t put my finger inside my nose to pick boogers, so I use cotton swabs lol. Oh, and when I smile widely my nose doesn’t spread out, so my satisfaction with life has gone up.

From the 3rd photo onward is how I looked 2-3 years after my first nose surgery failed ^^ I can’t believe that was a surgically done nose. I was too embarrassed to even tell people I had nose surgery, and nobody believed it either. Compared with my original nose, only the nasal tip got even blunter, so I regretted it so much I could have pounded the ground, then eventually gave up and lived about 3 years with a que sera sera~ attitude and no thought of revision surgery... I had no implant on the nasal bridge, just my own ear cartilage taken and placed in the nasal tip, plus nasal bone osteotomy, paid 2.2 million won, and had surgery from a quack doctor outside Seoul... If I had a time machine, I’d go slap my past self for choosing that clinic....
I went for a consultation because I was planning cheekbone surgery, and thought maybe I should get an estimate from a doctor who’s good at facial contouring and nose revision surgery. After the consultation I got swept up and booked the same day. I had surgery with the modest hope that it would just improve compared with my current nose, but it turned out so well that I’m bowing toward Gangnam...
Honestly, my personality is lazy, so I didn’t even properly go clinic-shopping. I went for a consultation through an acquaintance’s clinic recommendation, booked surgery, and then had surgery directly one month later.... lolololol I’m relieved it was successful, but everyone, please don’t have surgery like this.. Go around to as many consultations as you can first....
And if the doctor doesn’t give definite answers and a surgical plan during the consultation, don’t have surgery there.... During my first surgery, they said my bulbous nose would be hard to improve significantly (nonsense; the doctor who did my revision said it wasn’t a difficult nose), and that of course it would improve compared with before, so I trusted them and did it, but it became wider and flatter than before hahahaha....
