I had non-incisional eye surgery in early September, and I had eye shape correction + an inner double eyelid. I’m leaving a review with photos from one month post-op.
For 3 days after surgery, I did cold compresses twice a day and slept sitting up. After day 3 post-op, when the stitches were removed, I did not do any compresses at all. (The clinic said I didn’t have to, so I haven’t been doing them.) The bruising lasted about 17 days, and the swelling was quite severe until week 3. After that, it keeps swelling and going down repeatedly.
And definitely, when you first have eye surgery, photos come out well because of the swelling and the bold, intense-looking eyes. But in real life, my eyes didn’t suit my face, so I was really depressed until week 3. Even now at one month post-op, I’m still unsure, wondering, “Did it turn out well? Did it not?”
