Hello, I'm someone who's obsessed with self-care.
I saw people in this community saying this hospital is blacklisted, and there aren't many reviews either.. But I paid 100% with my own money for facial contouring and rhinoplasty, and in the end I am very satisfied with both, so I'm writing my second rhinoplasty review.
*I will start by saying once again that this is purely my own review and that I did not receive any benefits whatsoever related to the surgery.*
It's already been about 2 weeks since the surgery. I think the major swelling went down really early.
At first, I thought my nose looked upturned, so I posted a worried post, wondered if I had gotten rhinoplasty for nothing, and was seriously depressed (I really thought it was a pig nose; my nasolabial angle was around 120 degrees), but these days all I can think is that I really did the right thing by getting it done.
I asked for it to look natural, and I think the doctor made it look natural, even if it isn't flashy. At first, I asked for it to be arranged and refined so it really would not be noticeable at all, even if that meant it barely showed and felt like a waste of money. (I hadn't even thought about raising the bridge or anything, since I originally had a bit of a nasal bridge.)
But on the operating table, during the final design, I showed photos of the design I wanted and asked for it, then said, 'Doctor, please look and do it naturally as you see fit,' so I think he just made it in his own style. (Now that I think about it, I think the photos I showed were somewhat different from what I was saying. The photos wanted a high nasal bridge, while my words were saying something else... lol)
First of all, I really like the result!! As expected, anything should be left to the expert!!! Hooray!!!!!
For the surgery, I was told they removed the Ellanse filler that was already in there and inserted 3 mm, and only ear cartilage was used. It was done under general anesthesia, and since the hospital had an anesthesiologist, I wasn't too worried. (The facilities were good too, e.g. sterile system, etc.)
I also had rhinitis surgery at the same time, and my nose was blocked for 5 days. This was really hard for me.. I thought I was going to lose my mind, seriously..;; After surgery, once the cotton was removed, the swelling went down a lot; after the splint was removed, it went down a lot again; after the external stitches were removed, it went down a lot again. As it kept going down, the overall shape from when the splint came off did not change much, but the nasal tip naturally came down and the minor swelling went away, so I could feel it gradually becoming really natural.
And as for having the rhinitis surgery at the same time, all I can think is that I was really glad I did it together. At first, I wondered if they were just trying to earn more money (honestly, I had lived without really knowing that breathing was uncomfortable), but once I actually had the surgery and the cotton was removed, it was seriously a whole new world!!! Yay!!!!!!
For swelling care, I walked for about an hour around 3 times, drank 1 pack of pumpkin juice after each meal, and used an LED mask from the point when I needed to reduce swelling. There is still packing and stitches left inside my nose, and when I think about it going down more after those are removed, my happy thoughts start running automatically (pleased).
For swelling care, I didn't really do anything besides these three things. They say rhinoplasty looks different at 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year, and I think that applies to all surgeries. It was the same when I had facial contouring, so I'm looking forward to it even more haha.
The first photo is before surgery, in summer 2018. The second was taken right after removing the splint. The third is close to 2 weeks post-op. I think it would be good to refer to them. (Actually, I'm scared someone might recognize me.... But I want more people to have more options and get good results even more ㅠㅠ because I know from having worried a lot myself..ㅠㅠ)
I don't think I'll be writing any more reviews after this post.
Yes, because it's a hassle. Even though I'm writing this voluntarily, I don't think I'll be posting except for lurking.
And now that I'm entering my 30s, I should stop going under the knife and focus only on maintenance with petite procedures or lifting-related treatments.
I should wrap this up quickly now. I'm not good at writing, so it may be hard to read, but I'm leaving this because I hope it will be a lot of help.
