I went for a consultation in early April, and the process was: first a consultation with the manager, then a consultation with Dr. Oh, and finally another price consultation with the manager. The reason I decided on One Pick was that both the doctor and the manager really understood what I needed, and because they didn't feel artificial but natural, and rather than just saying, "Please give me Cha Eun-woo eyes!" they said they'd find eyes that fit my face in a harmonious way. I thought, ah, I should do it here, but since it was my first clinic I just left after that. I was moved by how kind the manager was right up to the end, even though I was someone who might never come back... I also work in the same industry, but because I don't work in Seoul I thought, 'Ah, everyone in Seoul is so kind..' but after going to other consultations, that was immediately not the case lol..
I don't want to compare, but I can't help comparing They barely discount anything and push you hard to book on the same day, whereas here even the manager said they personally don't like same-day bookings, and they speak so nicely...
If your eyes protrude a bit, most places would say you have protruding eyes or that they stick out, but the fact that they said, "You have some volume in your eyes~" in such a considerate way touched me again..
My first consultation was at the beginning of the month, and they said if I checked out other places and wanted to proceed with them, I should contact them by the end of the month, and if there were any possible discounts, they'd help as much as possible. Even if it wasn't a huge amount, just saying it that way was so appreciated... I wondered if this is what customer-delight service feels like. Honestly, more than the surgery itself, I was extremely satisfied with the way I was treated.
The doctor's skill is important too, but even if I end up with side effects or don't like the results. That kind of communication is handled entirely with the manager, so I think a place that's kind and speaks from the customer's perspective is obviously much better than one that pushes same-day booking.
The quiet hospital atmosphere, unlike the crowded market-like feel of other clinics, also played a big part. I think this part will divide opinions, because some people might think, "That means they don't have many patients there," but I heard One Pick itself doesn't pack the surgery schedule too tightly in a day! They're not machines, and even in real factories that run machines, there are occasional malfunctions. Human plastic surgery, no matter how skilled or easy it is, can still go wrong on one out of dozens of cases, so... I made my final decision to go with here because they have many cases but not too many surgeries per day!
Reading this, it feels like it turned into some kind of promotional post, but my surgery was done yesterday, and I'm writing this while doing cold compresses because I'm bored and have nothing else to do.
