Revision rhinoplasty (autologous dermis nose), 2 months post-op

<<My nose from the silicone days>><Surgical chart>- Dermis thickness 3 mm, including 20-30 fat, height 11 mm My original nose had no nasal bridge at allㅠ For the nasal tip, they reused my septal cartilageㅎ

I ended up having revision surgery because of a complication where the silicone was showing throughㅠ For my third surgery, I chose autologous dermis rhinoplasty.

After removing the silicone and having surgery with autologous dermis, the occasional tight, painful feeling in my nose went away, and it became so much more comfortableㅠ Especially because my skin is very thin, my nose would get so red in winter, which really stressed me outㅠ

Honestly, it was hard for me to decide easily because it is a surgery that leaves a scar on the buttock.. But the scar doesn’t seem to be as big as I expected, and now that I’ve done it, I feel mentally more at ease, so I’m satisfied! I’m just hoping the height doesn’t go down too much from hereㅎㅎ   Lastly, since autologous dermis is a surgery where your own nasal base shows through, if you have a large nose and want a slim, pointed nose, silicone may be better. But if you are worried about complications or want a safe, natural nose that feels like your own, I recommend autologous dermis rhinoplasty :) Especially if it’s a revision surgery, I highly recommend it..^^..
