When seen from the front, even with a blank expression, the dimples are deeply indented, so they look unnatural. But I really wanted prominent, deep dimples, so even though they look unnatural, I’m very satisfied!!! Since it’s the day of surgery, from the side they look like snakebite marks and are flat, and they say that’s normal. You can think of dimple surgery as something that forms over 3 months after surgery as the shape and position settle.
1. Surgery received Long dimples on both cheeks (6 mm) surgery I hadn’t decided what kind of dimples to make, but the director recommended long dimples because my face is on the round side.
My guess is that for people with round faces, or larger cheekbone and jaw skeletal structure, long dimples create a vertical line on the face, so the gaze is dispersed and the face looks slimmer.
On the other hand, if your face is on the long side, I think dot dimples would balance out the long face and make you look younger.
However, since they’re tied with thread, long dimples can apparently come undone more easily than dot dimples!! I saw a lot of reviews saying they became lighter, and I wanted strong dimples, so I asked them to tie them very strongly and deeplyㅎ
2. Price
319,000 won including VAT + 33,000 won for medication = about 350,000 won
The initial price is 350,000 won.. If you get inflammation, you’ll spend money on medication and treatment, the dimples will get lighter, and they say inflammation treatment is very, very, extremely, extremely painful, so you have to take good care of them.
3. Hospital
The place with the longest name among the famous hospitals that come up when you search dimple surgery on Naver (7 characters)
The reasons I chose this hospital are that it has many reviews, is famous, is not a large hospital, and has good reviews for aftercare. They say that if the dimples completely disappear after surgery,
within 1 year, A/S is free, and if they become light, they will do surgery for 100,000 won per side><
4. Order and time required
From entering the hospital to leaving
Fill out chart and consent form -> wash face and wait -> consultation and photo-taking -> procedure, all within 40 minutes
Procedure time - 5 to 7 minutes
5. Pain
When getting the shots: local anesthesia >>> antibiotic injection
After getting the shots: antibiotic injection >>> local anesthesia
The antibiotic injection was given in the butt. After the antibiotic injection, the pain feels exactly like pressing firmly on a bruised spot.
Local anesthesia just feels like a painful injection. It hurt more than jaw Botox. They inject the cheek and also inside the mouth, but after they inject the cheek, it becomes numb, so it doesn’t hurt when they inject inside the mouth.
But personally, more than the pain, the psychological anxiety + fear was bigger for me ㅠㅅㅠ
Because of the anesthesia, there was no pain at all, but I was just so, so, so scared.... I kept wiggling my fingers and toes;; It was a short time under 7 minutes, but when I got up afterward, sweat was coming from my eyes...??
And right after it ended, my mouth couldn’t move because it was anesthetized, but they told me to smile, so I went hehe.. -ㅂ - and smiled while taking the after photosㅋㅅㅋ....
After the local anesthesia wore off, it was just a sliiight ohㅋ? You know that slightly annoying, mild stinging/aching feeling. That kind of feeling. Not unbearable.
7. Swelling There wasn’t major swelling to the point that it interfered with daily life, just some slight swelling. But maybe they tied my left cheek more strongly, because the left side had a bit more swelling.
Things I personally like
-> It gives a cute, lively, youthful image.
-> It improves asymmetry.
-> It improves the face shape.
My face was asymmetrical, but since both cheeks now have lines and indentations of the same length, there’s also an effect where the asymmetry is relatively less noticeable.
