In December, I consulted at 4 clinics while shopping around for revision eye surgery. The waiting time was the longest, at about 2 hours. Because the wait was so long, the front-desk staff and the manager consultation both felt unfriendly to me. I'm not sure whether I felt that way just because I had waited 2 hours. It is a clinic where the head doctor charges extra, and anesthesia costs are billed separately. I didn't like the way they made a show of discounting those costs. The fees were high, the wait was long, and I felt that this would likely carry over to the surgery day and even the post-op care, so after the consultation I excluded this clinic from my list right away.
