The consultation was short, but they explained in enough detail how the surgery would be done, why it would be done that way, and why other methods would be excessive surgery. The surgery took about an hour. I felt a bit dizzy at first, but I rested in the recovery room and then went home. They gave me an ice eye mask and a cold pack, so I have been using them often while waiting for the swelling to go down. I do not know if it will go down more, but for now it has flattened out and seems fine. There is bruising around my eyes, so I am watching it closely.
