While looking into lower blepharoplasty for my mom, we went for a consultation because it seemed like a hospital that does a lot for middle-aged patients, and we decided on surgery there because we liked the director. It strongly felt like they were consulting according to my mom’s face. I first asked whether she needed upper blepharoplasty, but they said this level was still okay, so she didn’t need it and should come later. It was my first time learning that there is a dual lower blepharoplasty. For now, since my mom is older, seeing that the swelling definitely goes down more slowly made me think that if it had been a regular lower blepharoplasty, full recovery would have taken at least two months. She is about 2 weeks post-op now, and although there is still swelling, we like the surgery. After surgery, when she went to have the stitches removed, they also did skin care and a swelling laser, which was nice. They said the director had also had surgery, and even though their skin is very fair, the scar was barely visible, so I thought we should do it here. Anyway, my mom is also very satisfied, and if my mother-in-law says she wants it done, I plan to go back to Director Jang Wook.
