Maybe because it’s a large hospital, I had to wait a long time before going in for the consultation. The consultation manager was so-so? She didn’t seem very knowledgeable, but I wasn’t going to have surgery from the consultation manager anyway, so I didn’t really mind. I consulted with Director Bae, and since I was paying for the consultation, I wanted the consultation to be more detailed and kinder. They need to tell you what will happen, what could happen, that kind of thing, but they just adjusted the line once or twice and that was it. If I also wanted fat removal, it felt like they were just saying to do it, but there was no explanation at all of what would happen if I did. I’m not trying to say they were unbearably rude or to curse them out, but they were definitely cold. It felt a bit hard to trust that they would really pay close attention during surgery..?
