I thought it was a pretty good price, considering it included revision surgery and two areas, plus the doctor’s reviews. (This was the price from 2 years ago.)
I specifically requested the head doctor when I went, and the wait was really, really long, with a ton of people. As the delays got worse, people here and there started complaining. That’s how big of a hospital it is. It was the kind of place that made me think, so this is what a large hospital is like.
For eye surgery too, the double eyelid surgery itself wasn’t expensive; it became expensive because entropion surgery was included as well. Natural adhesion double eyelid surgery was 1.65 million won. For the nose, autologous costal cartilage was 5.95 million won and donated costal cartilage was 5.7 million won - discounted prices. Considering it was autologous costal cartilage and revision surgery, the price wasn’t bad. The doctor in charge of the nose was a little unique. He put his hand into his own clothes and explained enthusiastically how the implant should go in. I also asked about nostril lowering, but he actually talked me out of it, saying that if I did that on my current nose, only the nasal tip would get bigger.
They also said they do blood tests, heart failure testing, and a chest exam one month before surgery. It was my first large hospital, and the image wasn’t bad. The consultant wasn’t too young either, and there was no pressure to book.
The consultation was good, but at that time I had only just started going around for consultations, so I didn’t make a reservation because I wanted to visit other places too.
