After my first surgery, honestly, at first I liked the line, so I thought it was a success, but as time passed, the line started to come undone. It didn’t come undone cleanly all at once, but in patches, so when my eyes are bare, the sizes of my two eyes are different, making them uneven.. Because of this, I’m still living the same as before, using double eyelid tape, and honestly that feels so discouraging that I’m currently going around for revision surgery consultations. But while going around, I also got consultations here and there for rhinoplasty, which I’d been interested in for a while. What I learned through the consultations was that it’s not simply that my nasal bridge is low, but that I have a bulbous nose type with a blunt nasal tip. So, like I’d seen in the community, I wanted a director who is good at making the nasal tip look sharp and defined. Director Yang, whom I consulted with recently, was good at looking at details and the balance with my other facial features, and when explaining the surgical method, he also broke down the technical terms so I could understand them from a patient’s perspective. Thanks to that, starting from the places I’d already consulted with to the remaining consultations afterward, I think it was good because I could get a sense of what criteria I should use to narrow things down.
