Eye Surgery Considerations

Review of Siseon in this community

I had non-incisional lateral canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty at another hospital, but everything closed back up within 3 months, so I had surgery at Siseon, where they do it with an incision. Maybe because it’s a relatively easy surgery compared with other procedures, or maybe because I knew exactly what I wanted, the consultation was exactly 10 minutes, and I actually waited about 40 minutes... lol Still, the reason I had surgery here was that the before-and-after difference was the biggest and the shape was pretty. I just had my 5-week follow-up and am writing this right away haha I had the stitches removed at week 1 after surgery, but the next day, conjunctival edema suddenly became seriously severe, and it didn’t go down even with medication, so as soon as week 2 started, I went in and had the swelling drained. From week 4, it felt less like I had surgery, and now it still feels a bit awkward when I smile with my eyes, but I think it’ll be okay with time. I live alone, so I went to my mom’s house after a month, and when my mom saw my eyes, she said they were pretty and that I did well haha They feel about 2.5 times bigger than before surgery, and even if they close a bit more from here, I don’t think the difference will be that big. Good good.
