I have monolids and was concerned about my small eyes, so I went for a consultation. I thought non-incisional surgery would definitely have a faster recovery, and since I have to go to work, I wanted the non-incisional method. But they recommended an incisional method because my eyelids are thick. They said the double eyelid could come undone. They said an in-to-in-out line would suit me best, and they set the line several times as an in-to-in-out line, and they were really good at setting the line...! They said doing it together with hook canthoplasty to reveal the line a bit would create the most flattering line, and that even with hook canthoplasty, the distance between my eyebrows wouldn’t look too narrow and it would look pretty. There was a program that measures the distance between the eyebrows, so they analyzed it in real time while explaining. It didn’t feel like they were just recommending surgery, and I could understand the reasoning, so I liked that! The consultation was all good, but since they didn’t recommend non-incisional surgery, I’m still a bit torn...!
