About 8 months after surgery, my eyes kept itching and swelling, so I went to the hospital. They said the doctor who did my surgery had left, and another doctor came to see me, but said he didn’t really know why it was happening, looked at me for 1 minute, and left. My eyes suddenly swelled up tremendously, so I sent photos and said they were extremely itchy, and they were saying consultations are set for once a week, so come next time? It was so itchy that I was even feeling pain.. I wondered if this was right, so I complained over the phone, and only then did they tell me to come in... The surgical shape is okay, but the aftercare is poor. The manager kept repeating, “There’s nothing we can do for you,” and was very meticulous about pointing out that if I have revision surgery, the anesthesia fee would be charged separately lol. They just told me to go to a local ophthalmology clinic for treatment and said they didn’t know either.. It really showed that they didn’t want to do even 1 thing for me, so I felt offended. They tried to appease me, saying they also had surgery and it itches but they live with it, and that it would get better when winter comes? They could at least tell me some kind of plan; I really don’t feel any sense of responsibility.. I understand there can be side effects after surgery, but I wonder if this kind of response is right. Double eyelid surgery is close to the eye, but are they only looking at the double eyelid? If something goes wrong with the eye because of the surgery, it feels like they would tell me to go to a university hospital and resolve it myself. My eye health was originally good and there were no issues, but since the surgery, I still get stringy eye discharge, and my eyes are dry and itchy. Because my eye condition is bad, my vision is also gradually dropping a little. I thought the main side effects were things like the eyes not closing, hare eyes, or sausage eyelids, but I’m realizing this kind of side effect exists too. The doctor had left the previous hospital, and since he appeared on this hospital’s YouTube and was the representative director, I thought he wouldn’t leave, but he left this hospital too. I was watching YouTube and the algorithm showed me a video of him having moved well to another hospital, which reminded me, so I’m writing this review.
