First of all, it hurt..
I asked because the swelling was asymmetric, and they said it would be fine once it went down..
The surgery was done in Seoul, but I live in a regional area, so I didn’t visit the clinic at the 1-month mark. When I called to change the appointment, they said it was okay not to come.
But even after 6 months passed, the asymmetry didn’t resolve, and I still had that distinctive swollen feeling in the skin, so I thought it was because of swelling and that time would fix it.
About a month ago, meaning only after 6 months had passed, I visited the clinic, and they said it was indeed asymmetric and told me to have revision surgery.
I had thought it was swelling, but the clinic said all the swelling was gone and told me to have revision surgery, so I wondered if I had to do it and had revision surgery last week to lower the line.
Even though it was surgery on only one side, somehow it took longer than last time,, and it hurt less, but it still hurt.
But the operated eye won’t close all the way.. It’s day 6 now.. I wondered if it was because of swelling, so I looked at photos from the previous surgery, and back then it closed just fine.. If anything, I couldn’t open it well. I’m confused and scared. Will it get better as the swelling goes down more? I casually took a photo with my eyes closed and got really shocked because so much of the white of the eye was showing.. When I try to sleep at night, one side won’t close, so I put a warm/cold pack on it and sleep..
