Eye Surgery Considerations

Siu community review

The CT fee was 20,000 won and the consultation fee was 10,000 won, so it cost 30,000 won in total. Both the consultant and the director explained things kindly. But somehow it seems easier to ask questions if the patient has already studied a lot and knows various things thoroughly. If you don't know the terminology and things like that well, it feels awkward to ask questions. Also, I asked about aftercare and side-effect A/S, and they said there are no 'special regulations' for that. If the surgery goes wrong, inflammation usually appears within about 1-2 weeks, so they take responsibility for that, but it felt like they were indirectly saying they are not responsible for side effects or inflammation after that. This part bothers me a little. The surgery cost isn't small, so it would be nice if they monitored the progress for a few months and provided A/S for side effects that appear during that time.. Anyway, they said not to worry too much about side effects, but from the patient's perspective, the fact that there are no clear regulations means you just can't expect anything in that area.. Still, looking only at the hospital, the director has experience and seemed confident about the surgery.
