The consultation proceeded in the order of manager (5 minutes) - director (8 minutes) - manager (5 minutes).
It was short, but I felt like I got a lot out of it in a short time: that my skin is thin, that I have a slight protruding-eye tendency, that if I do canthoplasty it would look strange (he held it with his hands directly, and it really looked strange so I gave up), that he recommends natural adhesion, and that if I make the line high, it would look puffy (since he held it directly.. I could immediately tell it looked strange), etc. (Of course, I may have felt that way because it was my first consultation..)
Also, the doctor looked quite tired, and although he had come right after finishing surgery, I didn’t particularly feel rushed. He just answered what I asked, and when I said I was done with my questions, he coolly left.
The consultation manager explained the A/S standards (within 6 months, if the line is low or I don’t like it, only the anesthesia fee of 220,000 won / within 1 year, if the line comes undone, revision surgery is possible with only the anesthesia fee), emphasized that there is a dedicated anesthesiologist, emphasized that there is no ghost doctor issue because you open your eyes within 5 minutes and can tell whether it is the doctor or not, clearly stated the prices.. Anyway, I think she handled things well on her own.
But what makes me a little uneasy is that it feels somewhat factory-style. There seemed to be many consultation managers, and it looked busy. Also, there were quite a lot of people inside the hospital. (It looked like many foreigners come, since there seemed to be people who speak foreign languages.)
I put down a 100,000 won reservation deposit, but after seeing people say absolutely not to put down a deposit after this, I regretted it a little.. Still, for now, it felt professionally okay.
