I looked it up on ㄱㄴㅇㄴ and booked a consultation. I liked the style of one particular director, and I heard that they were very thorough with consultations, so I requested that person and had the consultation. I waited about 40 minutes. I almost ended up late for my next hospital consultation, but thankfully I made it on time. The consultant was kind and gave a good consultation. But the director’s consultation was very disappointing. As soon as they came in, without even asking what line/style I wanted, they made a line on their own and said, “For these eyes, this is the only option,” “The structure of both eyes is too different, so this can’t be fixed,” and “Even if you have surgery, your eyes will still be uneven.” When I asked why that was, the answer was, “That’s just how it is.”..
After saying that, they left without even asking if I had any questions. I waited more than 40 minutes and saw the director for less than 5 minutes. I don’t know how medically complicated or difficult that question was to explain, but I feel like it’s the director’s job to explain it in a way the patient can understand as much as possible.
It was the first hospital I consulted among the places I visited, and it was the most unpleasant experience.
