Day 9 after implant-free nasal tip surgery

This is my day-9 review after implant-free surgery I kept thinking I should write reviews whenever I had time, but I kept putting it off, and it’s already day 9... haha I had septal cartilage for the nasal tip + slight columella reduction + slight smoothing of the nasal bridge!

<Day of surgery> The reaction test on my calf hurt the most... They didn’t use much anesthetic, so I woke up around the middleㅠㅠ I could feel them shaving the nasal bridge.. I was half-asleep, so it wasn’t painful or scary, and toward the end it was a bit uncomfortable but tolerableㅠㅠ The surgery took about 2 to 2.5 hours, and I recovered in the recovery room before leaving. Even after the anesthesia fully wore off, it didn’t hurt... Once the surgery was over, there was almost nothing painful!

<Postoperative care> The place where I had surgery does hemostasis in advance, so they don’t put cotton in the nose!! It’s really convenient for daily life~~ I ate everything I wanted starting the evening of the surgery lol. I couldn’t wash my face, so I only wiped with wet wipes, and that was a bit inconvenient.. When my nose was about to get blocked from a runny nose, the hospital disinfected my nose, so it opened up nicely I went for disinfection on days 3 and 5, and the external stitches are removed at one week! There’s no separate aftercare like swelling laser or radiofrequency.. To reduce swelling faster, I did cold compresses often and walked 10,000 to 20,000 steps a day lol. Walking definitely seems to help swelling go down

<Painful parts + inconveniences> As I wrote above, on the day of surgery the reaction test hurt the most, and after surgery, because of the disinfectant, the inside of my nose felt hot and stinging, which was painfulㅠㅠ After lying down for about 30 minutes, the stinging sensation went away And when stitches are removed after a week, it hurts a bit, but it’s tolerable.. Since I can’t blow my nose, it does get a little blocked. Breathing is a bit uncomfortable, but I think this is something you have to accept no matter where you get your nose done...

<Satisfaction & dissatisfaction> From the side and 45-degree angles, I think it definitely improved, so I’m satisfied But it’s disappointing that there isn’t much effect from the front... I did have it done after being told from the beginning that there wouldn’t be much frontal effect, but still, that’s how people are haha. It’s disappointing... Still, they said the nasal tip swelling will go down more, so I’m going to wait a bit longerㅠㅠ I’ll write reviews at 2 weeks and 1 month too~~
