I went for a consultation because I was concerned about hollowing of my upper eyelids. My eye hollows have become pronounced lately, so it’s been bothering me a lot, and I also have a heavy feeling when I open my eyes, so I asked about it. The doctor held a double eyelid line for me and said that this wouldn’t completely resolve the hollowing of my eyes. They said it wasn’t to the point where I needed fat grafting. They also said there’s no real need to do lower blepharoplasty or under-eye fat repositioning right now. They told me to think about it later, around when my children get married. They wrote, <Just live as you are> lol They said they don’t recommend it because the effort and cost I’d have to take on are significant. They say the place pursues natural beauty, but it feels like they pursue “nature” itself. It seems they don’t recommend surgery unless something is uncomfortable or highly necessary. For the under-eyes, they said they would do it if I really wanted, but that I didn’t need to, so that also made me feel relieved. They explained while comparing photos of my eyes with various case photos, so I trusted them, but I kind of want to do at least something, so I’m wavering.
