It has been 5 years since I had double eyelid surgery, but the swelling is still quite severe.. When I first had the surgery, I should have worked on reducing the swelling, but it was so hard that I just lay down right away. Drinking pumpkin juice! Taking walks! And sleeping with your pillow raised would probably help a lot.
