Eye Surgery Considerations

Premier community review

I have congenital ptosis. My left eye has some strength to some extent, but my right eye is severe ptosis with almost zero muscle strength. So when I was 13, I had my first correction at ㅂㅋ because they said my vision would get worse. (Even the first time, they said I would need revision correction once I became an adult.) As I gradually grew, my double eyelid started to come undone, so I went around for consultations. Most doctors seemed a bit reluctant and not confident about my eyes. But Director ㅈㅇㅈ said we should try it once and that he would do his best, so I had it done. As expected, the left eye turned out well, but the right eye came undone quickly. Still, over 2 years, he did two after-service corrections free of charge During the third surgery, he said, “This is my own ambition, but let’s try just one more time,” and he also had passion for the surgery. Even so, it came undone, so I eventually went to another hospital, but I knew it was originally a difficult case, so I was fairly satisfied, and I’m satisfied because the left eye turned out well!
