[Reason for surgery] I originally had a complex about my low nose and wide-spread nose since I was young. Even when I took photos, my face looked flat, and at some point I felt like my nose made me come out looking unattractive in photos, so I stopped taking pictures from the side. Because my nose was spread out, I felt like my whole face looked broad too.
Around that time, my friend wanted to get nose surgery and said she had already done online research and was going to visit clinics in person, so I said I’d go with her and went. (Honestly, saying this now, I was just lucky, so everyone should really look into things carefully on their own too.. haha) Up until then, I didn’t really know much about celebrity noses.. I also wasn’t sure what would suit me well, but I couldn’t go without checking anything, so I looked things up roughly and went in thinking I’d just ask them to make it look natural!
[Consultation review] First of all, all the staff were genuinely so kind! As soon as I arrived, they took a CT scan and (free) photos, then I had the first consultation with the consultant. My friend had already been looking into things, so she explained what she wanted really well, but I just said I wanted to naturally cover only the parts I had a complex about. I said the same thing when I met the director too. The director was very chic, but as you can probably tell from the reviews, he gave off a very confident vibe? lol He looked at my photos, told me the drawbacks of my nose, listened to my concerns, and even recommended nostril reduction. He said we should put in 4 mm of silicone. (I was kind of in the mindset of “they’ll figure it out and do it well for me..” *I’ll say it again, I was a lucky case!!!) Just the consultation felt so good that even though it was my first clinic visit haha, I booked the surgery right away (this was in April, but I wanted to do it during the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday, so I booked in advance. There was no pressure to book!) I had the surgery this Lunar New Year.
[Surgery review] Seriously, neither my friend nor I had even 1 bit of pain. Really. Honestly, I was a bit scared after watching YouTube. Inflammation was one thing, but I was anxious because people said the pain hurt. But there really was 0 pain, just some discomfort from nasal congestion and swelling? For autologous costal cartilage pain, we didn’t have a separate abdominal binder, but I started going for walks from the very next day haha. Still, the stabbing soreness lasted about 3 to 4 weeks. The next day, they removed the gauze? not the cotton inside my nose, then removed the splint on day 4 and the stitches on day 7! Every time I went, they did swelling laser treatment, and whenever I visited, I always saw the director, he checked my progress, and he even removed the stitches himself! When I contacted them on KakaoTalk from time to time because I was anxious, they responded well, and thanks to that, a lot of my anxiety went away!
‼️‼️Conclusion‼️‼️ I’m sooooooooo satisfied because I got the natural look I really wanted and the complex I wanted to get rid of was resolved too. My family, friends, and acquaintances all say it turned out well and ask which clinic I went to lol And I went back to work on day 10, and because of the bruising, everyone asked if something had happened, but no one noticed the nasal incision line or the nostril reduction scars! For me too, the columella incision line is a little red, but unless I tilt my head up and look, it’s not even visible, and the nostril reduction scar really lol cannot be seen at all. I’m just suuuuuuper satisfied. Thank you, director.
