I went to consultations at many famous hospitals, but Contour Standard appealed to me the most. At the first consultation, I felt it was a process of narrowing the gap between the image I wanted and the image the director had in mind. The consultation was that detailed, and because it was my first plastic surgery, I had many questions, but they kindly answered them all.
On the day of surgery, my face was swollen, but it was amazing that my 45-degree cheekbones had improved as if they had been reduced with Photoshop.
From the day of surgery to week 1, I had some nausea and queasiness due to the effects of general anesthesia.
Until week 2, my face swelling was severe, and eating was the hardest part.
From week 3, I worked hard on warm compresses and walking, so the bruising and swelling gradually went down, and I could open my mouth well, making daily activities possible. Personally, I was able to take an English speaking test and do a video interview without difficulty.
Now that it is week 4, the major swelling has definitely gone down a lot, and although some swelling remains in the cheek area, it has improved enough that people around me say my face has definitely gotten smaller.
Before surgery, when I wore a hat, my side cheekbones stuck out farther than the brim, so I didn't wear hats much, but now my face actually looks smaller, so I'm satisfied every time I look in the mirror~!
It has only been one month, so there is still hard swelling around the sideburn incision area, and there is muscle tightness and swelling at the intraoral incision site, but I expect it to become more natural over time!
