Hi. I’m writing because I feel so frustrated I’m going crazy. My first burial-method surgery was successful, and I lived well with it for 10 years. It was an inline crease, but after 10 years it seemed to be getting thinner, so ahead of my wedding, I thought burial method would heal quickly and had revision surgery with the burial method at the end of January. I have schedules lined up from March, and my wedding photoshoot is in early May.
But from one week after surgery, something started protruding on my left eye like scar tissue. I don’t drink alcohol at all, don’t drink coffee, took all my antibiotics, applied eye ointment every day, and because it was a holiday period, I rested fully at home. At my first surgery, even though I have keloid-prone skin, I didn’t scar at all.
Even after a month, the protrusion was still the same. So at the end of February, the doctor said a knot was protruding and that they would do revision surgery to put the knot back inside, and after the surgery they said there was also a stye, so they removed it.
But it’s now been a little over 2 weeks since the surgery at the end of February. I still have bruising and swelling, and the important thing is that the protrusion on my eye is still the same..
When I asked, they said it was scar tissue.. Even when I said I wanted a scar-tissue injection, they said not all cases are like that and suggested waiting. But I don’t have time and feel like I’m going crazy.
I had the burial method, and my first surgery was not like this at all, so why did scar tissue form? I’m really depressed...
In conclusion, I had surgery at the end of January, but I still have bruising around my eye, so everyone I meet asks what happened. I’m extremely stressed because of the protruding scar tissue. I still can’t wear makeup just in case, and I have a dress tour at the end of March, so I’m seriously going crazy.
I’m really so angry at the clinic .... This scar tissue .. I want to get an injection even if I have to go to another clinic. If anyone knows a good clinic, please recommend one. And please tell me if the bruising looks like it will go away, and what it looks like to you all. Please comment .. Please comfort me, I’m going crazy
