This is a review of the natural adhesion surgery I had in 2018 with Director Jung Woo-jin at a clinic. I already had double eyelids originally, but I tend to swell easily, and I was stressed because my eyelid lines changed every morning and the thickness of my left and right double eyelids was uneven, so I decided to get double eyelid surgery. I visited a total of two places for consultations, and the reason I decided to go with Director Jung Woo-jin was that, at the time, he was the only one who mentioned natural adhesion and even showed me papers, and the way he took pride in it seemed trustworthy. I’m the type who worries a lot, but he answered each of my questions kindly and thoroughly, and above all, he respected my needs and tried to accommodate them as much as possible, so I made my final choice. Actually, my original double eyelid line itself was already fairly defined and not thin, so normally they set it at 8 mm, but I kept taking into account that the swelling would go down and set it at 12 mm.. At the time, the director did tell me that Asians cannot become like Westerners and that I should let go of my greed, but I still said I wanted to do it my way. I think it took almost 6 months to 1 year for even the minor swelling to go down! (Honestly, until 3 months, because of the swelling and the line being too high, I thought it had failed, was almost suffering from depression, and even looked into surgery to undo it.) In the before-and-after photos, the after photo is from about 1 year later, and it looks almost the same as now, about 7 years later. I’m very satisfied haha. Maybe because it wasn’t an incision method, even when I close my eyes, people seeing me for the first time have no idea I had double eyelid surgery! I didn’t do any canthoplasty or anything like that, only double eyelids, and I got a student exam admission-ticket discount too, so I had it done very affordably!! As far as I know, Director Jung Woo-jin has currently opened his own clinic! I hope everyone’s plastic surgery turns out amazing :)
