About 5 years ago, because my eyes had a lot of fat, I had fat removal and double eyelid surgery with a partial incision, in an in-out line. I also had an epicanthoplasty. I'm satisfied compared to before, but now, after 5 years, my left eye has loosened a little (a friend of mine who had surgery at this hospital had it completely loosen after only 2 years, so she's trying to get revision surgery again.) and the epicanthoplasty seems more noticeable than other people's. Anyway, from my experience, I think it takes about 1 year for the swelling to completely go down and for it to look natural, and it keeps changing after that too. My eyes also sag compared to right after the surgery.
