Before <before arm liposuction> After <after arm liposuction> After after after after after I do have muscle, but I also had a lot of extra fat and even sagging on my upper arms, so I was really stressed and decided to get arm liposuction. I had my entire arms + accessory breast tissue + armpits done, and they removed 700 cc.
When I went around for hospital consultations, every place I consulted said my bones were on the larger side and my arms were muscular, so I wouldn’t get a dramatic effect like skinny, bony arms. But rather than keep being stressed, I decided to go through with liposuction hoping to trim them down even a little!!
From the day of surgery to about day 3, there wasn’t major pain, and there was a lot of swelling above my elbows. On day 2, my weight had gone up almost 4 kg.. I was a bit shocked, but I already knew it was probably because of the IV fluids and swelling, so I pulled myself together lol. I ate properly, took my medication well, and focused on recovering. After that, my weight slowly started going down, but the swelling and bruising in my arms kept getting worse, so it was kind of tough. The bruising also moved down below my elbows to my forearms.. It was hard to move.. The compression garment felt stuffy too, and because I was so swollen, it hurt as well..!
It’s still a bit uncomfortable because of the swelling, but I can clearly see that my upper arms are thinner than before, so I’m diligently taking walks every day, drinking warm water often, and continuing the care I can do right now.! I’m now starting to feel the hardened lumps that had been hidden by the swelling, and since I ate well for a week, I think I should start managing my diet now too. I want all the swelling to go down quickly so I can confidently wear sleeveless tops as much as I want!!
