Before before <Before surgery> after after <After surgery> - I used septal cartilage and ear cartilage and got nose surgery at a neighborhood plastic surgery clinic... just going anywhere with the thought that maybe it would be fine.. - It drooped, so I had revision rhinoplasty again with donated costal cartilage.. I said I wanted it natural, but I didn’t know the surgery would really make almost no difference.
So this time, I decided to try my last nose surgery with autologous costal cartilage.. and while I was at it, remove the silicone too..
With this mindset, I really looked into skilled hospitals and made my decision. This was a nose that had had nose surgery; sadly... Since my nose wasn’t high from the side either, of course my mouth looked protruded, and it was stressful that my face looked broad and flat too.
I had double-chin liposuction and thread lifting in the double chin. I hear that my face has become fist-sized. My face was originally on the smaller side, but I think I got the effect of reducing the area that had looked big because of the double chin.
I removed the silicone from the nasal bridge, and the nasal tip was done with autologous costal cartilage. Really.. I’m satisfied because it matches my facial proportions so well.
- I had surgery using a bridge technique so the height difference between the nasal bridge and nasal tip would not look noticeable. - It was done with a minimal incision for autologous costal cartilage, so it didn’t hurt much and the recovery period was okay. - For nostril wing reduction, both incisional and non-incisional methods were used. The redness is at a level that can be covered with makeup, but I’m going to watch it a bit longer. Since I like the nose shape, I just think it’ll get better on its own as long as I apply the ointment well. - Since it was a second revision rhinoplasty, I wanted a skilled hospital and hoped the system would be really good too.. (It was my first time seeing a place with an anti-adhesion agent and inflammation-prevention spray.. I decided because it seemed to have a well-organized care system with novel methods.) - The consultant and staff are really kind.. It would have been impossible to leave out the director being kind too. Honestly, I thought it was enough if they just did the surgery well.. but every time I went to the hospital, they remembered me and carefully checked each part of my care, so the post-op care was really satisfying.. - Swelling and bruising were not severe, and I think I returned to daily life faster than expected. Walking is the fastest for reducing swelling. I sometimes drank pumpkin juice, but whether it works instantly? I’m not sure... The nose line came out well as the straight-with-slight-curve shape I wanted, and I think it will get much better once more swelling goes down.. Even if it stays just this good, I’d be really happy, but I expect only the nasal ala and nasal tip area to become a bit slimmer..
After removing the silicone, I feel like there’s much less to worry about, such as inflammation or bending symptoms and so on.. I really debated a lot about whether to remove it or not, but I think it was fortunate Thanks for reading this long post.
