Before and after, even from before, I had been stressed about my bulbous nose and low nasal bridge, and I always only had the thought that I wanted to get nose surgery, but I felt like I might not be able to if I got any older, so with a fresh mindset in 2025, I had a consultation in January and decided to have the surgery.
Among the people around me, I had an acquaintance who knows a lot about plastic surgery, so I got recommendations for hospitals famous for nose surgery and booked consultations.
The uncomfortable part after surgery was that because there was cotton packed inside my nose, breathing was the hardest thing, I think. The pain was not severe, so it was okay. And the time wearing the splint was boring.
After surgery, the height of my nasal bridge changed, and I liked that I could clearly see my nostrils/alar base had become smaller than before. Because there is still swelling, my nasal alar area is still puffy, so I’m curious how it will look once it goes down more.
