I had a non-incisional revision surgery in 2023, and then in March 2024 the following year, I had a second revision by incision. Everyone was kind, and the consultant was especially kind. It is definitely like a factory-style clinic. Both the operating room and recovery room were like that, but the surgery itself went well. After surgery, I lay down for 2 hours and then went home, and I think I received a heating/cooling eye mask for free. The first revision surgery went well, but due to the characteristics of my eyes, it came undone, so I had the same director do it by incision. Actually, the incision surgery failed. The double eyelid was not properly fixed, and skin was cut away as it was, so when I went back to the hospital, they said the director who operated on me had gone somewhere else. I had a consultation with another director, and they asked whether my eyes had not been dry, and said my eyes were not closing properly. Still, the doctor examined me carefully and kind of comforted? me, so that was good.
Still, well, in a way.. the eye shape correction did happen, so I am living with big monolid-looking eyes. I do not have major despair or discomfort. (If I wear mascara, it looks like my eye shape is corrected lol)
I wanted to let people know that even if it is a side effect like mine, there are still aspects that can be kind of okay and fully overcome.
