Before and after, hi! Now I am 48 days (1 month 20 days) after surgery. The photos are from the surgery day, day 3, 2 weeks, and now.
Reason for surgery: My face was quite angular, broad, and square. It was hard to describe exactly, but it did not satisfy me. Even though I was worried whether this decision was right, I had to do it. I decided to do it.
Consultation/research: I had this operation because this is a face that can be changed. At first, I had a lot of anxiety and was afraid of the procedure.
Consultation: I was very impressed by how many photos were shown. I thought if I did this now, I could do the correction from the root. I finally decided to trust that and underwent surgery. The doctor explained everything clearly and also talked about alternatives.
Surgery plan: - 1) Cheekbone reduction - 2) Jaw angle reduction (jawline) - 3) Chin correction (setback/forward shaping) - 4) Also, for the temple area, the doctor said they can do a gujok-like contouring. - 5) Lower jaw tip recession as needed
Pre-op check: They advised that cheekbone, jaw angle, chin and temple area can each be done based on the facial structure.
Surgery outcome: The shape looked okay during the operation. The result was close to what I wanted.
Cost: The price was not low, but I thought the results were worth it.
Hospital experience: - The hospital environment was comfortable. - The room, staff, and the doctor were warm and kind. - The staff gave very clear and kind explanations. - There was no pressure in the process.
Post-op care: - After surgery, I had swelling and numbness, but it improved over time.
Aftercare and management: - I have been going for follow-ups regularly. - The doctor gave precise and kind instructions. - Nothing too painful, but there were some days of discomfort.
How I feel now: - I am happy with the outcome. - Although still some swelling remains, the contour is clearly different. - I used to look as if I could not show a clear side profile; now it is more natural.
Overall, I am very satisfied with this surgery.
Total review: It is good.
I used to think I should just wait, but I am glad I did it when I had this chance.
Current status: It is a little awkward with still-incomplete soft tissue adjustment, but overall the result is good.
If you are thinking about contouring, I recommend checking a lot of examples and talking directly with the surgeon.

No need for platform-specific terms; surgeon skill and communication mattered most for me.
