I had it done at the Seoul branch of Bright World Eye Clinic, but only Busan is listed in the hospital list? My corneas were thick, so both LASIK and LASEK were possible, but LASIK seemed to have a faster recovery, so I proceeded with LASIK. I don’t remember the exact surgery cost because it was so long ago.. My right eye had severe astigmatism, but after surgery I think it came out to about 1.0. They said my corneas were thick, so I could have it done one more time later if needed. After surgery, my eyes stung and teared up, but after taking a nap, 4 hours later I could see everything in the world clearly, so I was so happy. After LASIK, I barely took care of my eyes (didn’t really use artificial tears, etc.). After 15 years, my vision is 0.4 in the right eye because of astigmatism and 1.2 in the left. It doesn’t interfere with daily life, but when I went because I wanted to have surgery on my right eye one more time, they scolded me, saying that with this level of vision I should just live with it, and asking why I wanted surgery when I wasn’t uncomfortable. (Seems like they’re not a hospital that only thinks about making money.) Seeing that the hospital is still doing well, I think it’s a decent hospital.
