It’s already been 4 months since I had double jaw surgery! I had disliked the shape of my mouth for a long time, and I knew the reason was a protruding mouth. So I decided to have double jaw surgery because I wanted to improve that part. When I first made the decision, I had a lot of worries and concerns, but now I’m so, so satisfied haha. In the beginning there was a lot of swelling and opening my mouth felt awkward, but as time passes, it’s becoming more and more natural! Around 2–3 months after double jaw surgery, people around me told me my face had become slimmer and that my overall vibe had changed, so I felt really good.. Since I wanted to improve my mouth the most, I thought oral and maxillofacial surgery would be good, and I had consultations elsewhere too, but this oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic felt a bit more specialized, and I thought I could trust them and leave it to them without hesitation, so I made a reservation right away that day! Now almost all the swelling is gone, and I can open my mouth comfortably! I’m also eating hard foods well, so I’ve found the happiness of eating again~~~ The hardest part was eating, but now I’m so happy that I can chew anything! My smile is becoming more and more natural, and sensation is slowly coming back too! There is no discomfort at all in daily life, and if anything, it has become more comfortable haha. Even if I went back, I think I’d get double jaw surgery again without hesitation! I’m really looking forward to how much more natural it will become as time passes hahaha
