“Before-after-after title” seems to be a meme these days, am I using it right?? lololol Honestly, it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say I wrote this review because I wanted to try using that meme....
Anyway, I had 3 types of facial contouring done last March, and I thought by now the swelling should be mostly gone, so I’m writing a review. First of all, I wasn’t the type to be super stressed about my face shape, but after constantly seeing slim faces on Instagram and YouTube, I started wanting that kind of look. I thought that for people who make you think “pretty” at first glance, their face shape plays a part.. (I’ve been told my facial features are on the striking side, but because of my face shape, my face looked ordinary.)
Anyway, while I had been thinking about it for a long time, a savings account I’d been contributing to for a while matured, and I had also had a modest success with investing, so I had the funds.. I’m originally pretty impulsive, so I suddenly went for it, looked into clinics, and ended up getting surgery.
The criteria I used to choose a clinic were the safety system and the director’s consultation style. Clinics that just piled on fancy words, made the consultation unnecessarily long, but had no substance so I couldn’t remember anything afterward...? Sorry, but I ruled those out. I think I liked Director Kim Ji-myeong because he only said exactly what was needed + told me I didn’t need things that weren’t necessary. Everyone has different preferences for consultation style, but that’s how it was for me... lolol!!
They said that for surgery under general anesthesia, a guardian can monitor things in real time, and that they also have rare medications stocked in preparation(?) for any unexpected situations, so I think I decided smoothly.
The day of surgery.. Honestly, when I see people say facial contouring didn’t hurt, I find it amazing. How could it not hurt? The level of pain may differ from person to person, but I have absolutely no memory right after surgery. My throat hurt so much, I was foggy I think I just kept asking for painkillers and slept like I had passed out. I only came back to my senses after the afternoon of the next day, and for me, by the evening of day 2, it became somewhat bearable.
But if you think that’s the end of the hard part, you’re mistaken.. The pain is one thing, but after that, having to be careful about what I ate was surprisingly hard It was my birthday not long after surgery, and I regretted not doing it a bit earlier or later. My mom set a huge birthday meal for me, but only my family was happy, well........ haha Not being able to eat properly made me feel so miserable

Congratulations, you’ve passed every gate of facial contouring.. lol After that, there really isn’t much discomfort, and the swelling keeps going down quickly, so you can live normally! Honestly, in the beginning it was so hard that I wondered, ah, did I do this surgery too impulsively? But memories tend to get beautified.. haha Every time I take a selfie, I’m in the “I’m glad I did it after all” state.
