So while looking for a hospital, people around me recommended Lowell Plastic Surgery as a hospital that does nose surgery well, so I found it. I visited the hospital, and Director Kim Jae-yoon personally consulted with me. When I told him the things I considered important were, first, a natural-looking nose, and second, the alar base and upturned nose, he found the optimal line that could satisfy all of them. Unlike other hospitals, there was no attempt to forcefully raise the nasal tip excessively, so I really liked that they prioritized the patient’s opinion. I didn’t want to have revision surgery later because the nasal tip drooped, so I chose donated costal cartilage rather than septal cartilage for the surgery, and I think it was even better because I could have the surgery reasonably without an extra fee. From immediately after the surgery until one week later when the splint was removed, I was surprised because there was amazingly no pain. I was able to go about daily life from the day of surgery, and the next day they removed the nasal packing right away, so from then on there was no pain and no discomfort. After the splint was removed, the first time I saw my nose, it really had the natural feeling I wanted, and I was very, very, very satisfied. And during the recovery process after removing the splint, the hospital took such detailed care of me that I was touched… Also, from around the 3rd week, people around me said that something seemed different but they couldn’t tell until I said I had nose surgery, and when I revealed that I had surgery, everyone said it really didn’t show, so I’m so happy. And above all, I’m so satisfied myself that my self-esteem in daily life has gone up, and I look in the mirror more often.
