I got information from this community and had it done at ㅁㅇㅁㄷㄱ. I came in to look for a dermatologist, saw that I had a message, and am leaving a review. I guess I had commented before that I had it done there. I don’t really remember..ㅠㅠ
First of all, I don’t have anything I’d call a side effect. I think it took about a year for even the small residual swelling to go down completely. Before that, when I took photos, my face somehow looked puffy and full. I think this will differ from person to person. The major swelling that made it look like I had surgery went away within a month. I don’t remember exactly because it’s been so long ㅠㅠ I remember having a big bruise around my eyes. My mouth wouldn’t open at all, but I had such a strong appetite that I tried to force myself to eat and felt a sharp tingling pain at one point. The effect, I guess you’d call it the protruding angle, was definitely there. It’s not completely straight... but I think that makes it look more natural. I used to wear my side hair down to cover my cheekbones, but now I tuck my hair behind both ears, and my impression has become softer.
I had the surgery first without telling my parents. After the surgery, only my mom found out once I came home. About two days later? When she saw that the bandage was off and only four pieces of gauze were attached, she felt relieved. (The bruising around my eyes was quite severe, though.) (It’s been so long that I don’t remember exactly, but I don’t know whether a few days after surgery they removed the compression bandage and there was another bandage underneath.)
If I hadn’t been satisfied, I probably would have kept coming in here and posting soon after surgery, but I lived without even thinking about it.
Regarding cheek sagging, I don’t know whether my skin quality is special or not, but so far I don’t have any.. I naturally look young, I usually do lifting care diligently, and I take supplements well. I haven’t tried thread lifting yet. I’m trying to use a home lifting device every day. (If you search, there are many types, so I think you can buy whichever one you like.)
To be completely honest, I don’t regret having it done there. I chose that place because they minimize the incision, and I’m satisfied with that point. Everyone prioritizes different things, so that place probably isn’t the best choice for everyone. Still, I’m posting this so you can use the review as reference. I also had mine done after getting information from this community.
As a tip, eat as much as you can of whatever you want until before the surgery.
