I followed a friend and had it done at the same place, and first of all, strangely enough, even though it was LASEK, it didn’t hurt... Doesn’t it usually hurt a bit even when you wear contacts?! So I found that surprising. Other people say tears just stream down, but I just watched TV! However, my eyes were dry, so things looked hazy.
The director (a man) is not exactly friendly, but he seems skilled. What I like most is that he checks on me regularly and takes responsibility for my progress. The nurses are kind too!
I had almost high myopia + astigmatism (-7 / -6), so I’m satisfied even though I didn’t reach 1.0. My left eye, which had relatively less poor vision, now sees really well, and my right eye is around 0.7? If I cover my left eye, it looks a bit out of focus(?) Like the letters are slightly not clear... Still, my eyes were so bad to begin with, so I’m satisfied. And I think I’m still recovering.
