This is the subjective opinion of someone whose double-eyelid surgery went wrong, but I’m writing this in the hope that even one person won’t end up botched.
I hated taking videos or photos, and I didn’t even save travel photos. I lived thinking my eyes were my complex. If only these eyes got bigger... I thought that often, and when it was bad, I didn’t even want to look at people. What is this appearance obsession even worth...
I hated that makeup didn’t show, and I was so jealous of double eyelids. My younger sibling has really pretty eyes, so I compared myself even more.
But you know... after my double-eyelid surgery went wrong, not a single one of my old photos that I hated looking at was ugly. They were unique and cute. I don’t know why I hated them so much. I lived paying way too much attention to my eyes.
I keep regretting that I should have paid more attention to styling... Please, if even one person is telling you not to do it, think it over 100 times and decide carefully. And love yourself more.
What you see in the mirror isn’t everything. Appearance isn’t everything. Are you going to make a living with your face? Still, if you’re going to do it, I support you, because many people do get great results haha I sincerely hope everyone succeeds, doesn’t have to come into this community, and lives happily. I hope you don’t hate yourself.
