The doctor has a style of carefully examining and even directly touching the inside of the nose. But it felt like whether I use silicone or not, and how much to lower it, was up to my decision. Whether to use costal cartilage or not was also my decision.. They slightly recommended alar reduction, but that was also my decision. It seems like they explain things and the choice is my decision, and the surgical method would change depending on my choice. It did not feel like they were giving me confidence and leading the surgery, so I felt anxious.. It seemed like the doctor lacked certainty, and I got the feeling the consultant was the one making the decisions. They seemed to pursue implant-free surgery, so it was different from the style I wanted, and I did not feel confident, so I did not decide to have surgery.
