Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

I used to cover my face with my hair, then I got surgery haha

Before Before After AfterSince I was young, my square jaw was quite prominent, so I tried to cover it a lot with my hair. So I had been thinking about it for a long time, and I booked consultations with the mindset that if I would regret not doing it anyway, I should look into it properly and try it. So I received consultations mainly at hospitals in Gangnam that specialize in facial contouring, and in the end, I gained trust because they only do contouring without eye, nose, or mouth surgery, so I had square jaw surgery and jawline liposuction at Yungwakui Jeongseok. In my case, I trusted them more because the director personally did the consultation and they did CT imaging and CCTV recording. I decided on the hospital faster than expected, and since I had made up my mind, I scheduled the surgery date as soon as possible. On the day of surgery, rather than pain, I think I was actually out of it from waking up from general anesthesia. I had heard that sleep gas is not good for the body, so I tried not to fall asleep and kept breathing as much as possible, and maybe because of that, I did not feel nauseated or severely dizzy.  And even if the director performs the surgery well, I think the recovery process during the first week is really important. For about a week, the swelling and heat sensation became severe, so as the hospital instructed, I did cold compresses, wore the compression band, used disinfecting mouthwash, ate soft foods, walked, and did everything I could to reduce swelling and inflammation as much as possible. During that process, whenever I contacted the hospital to ask about things I was curious or anxious about, they kindly explained, so I think I was able to recover well. After getting the stitches removed in week 2, the major swelling definitely went down a lot, and the painful? bruised? scar tissue around my jaw feels hard in the morning and loosens a little by evening. Still, since a lifelong complex has been resolved, even if it may not look hugely different to others, I’m already satisfied just by the fact that I can now tuck my hair behind my ears when I go out. I hope the remaining painful swelling goes down well too, and that the day comes soon when I can wash my face refreshingly.
